Cinemagraphs a.k.a Animated GIFS

The lo-fi absurdity of an unexpected animated GIF during a boring Powerpoint presentation or scrolling through Gawker's Comment Section will always elicit some laughs. But now that we are calling them "cinemagraphs", animated GIFs have become an artform and  a legitimate way to market beer (so says the New York Times)!  I must admit, it's slightly mesmerizing...
